Abstract

Optimizes molecular methods to detect human caliciviruses in environmental samples. Evaluates existing and innovative molecular detection methods, develops a confirmation and characterization scheme, and evaluates primers and probes that can detect major genogroups of human caliciviruses present in environmental samples. Research partner: USEPA. Published in 2007.
