Abstract

Evaluates and develops guidance on the performance of different best management practices (BMPs) and sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS), long-term maintenance needs, and the impact of maintenance activities on performance. Also identifies whole-life costs and the impacts on receiving water bodies. Research partners: WERF and UKWIR. Phase 1 completed in 2004, and published by WERF as Post Project Monitoring or BMPs/SUDS to Determine Performance and Whole Life Costs. Phase 2 completed in 2005, and published by WERF as Performance and Whole Life Costs of Best Management Practices and Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems.
