Abstract

Demonstrates the utility of the Microbial Source Tracking method to identify sources of microbial pollution in watershed and source waters. Also tests the feasibility of using a database of source-specific genetic fingerprints of E. coli to identify sources of fecal pollution in geographic regions not represented in the database. Ended in 2003. A summary of partial findings is available to WRF subscribers.
