Abstract
Delineates amount of chlorine and contact time required to inactivate Giardia cysts at different disinfectant concentrations and pH ranges in low-temperature waters. These inactivation rates (CT values) were used to develop U.S. surface water treatment performance requirements. Published in 1987.
