Abstract

Evaluates a chemistry analytical method for the fatty acid profiling of bacteria isolates to identify, monitor, and understand changes in distribution system bacterial populations caused by water quality, treatment, and environmental factors. Enables reliable identification of microbes that are difficult to classify using conventional biochemical methods. Published in 1995.
