Abstract

Identifies water chemistry and mixing conditions that promote the formation of DBPs during chloramination to provide insight into the expected behavior of full-scale plants based on pilot testing. Addresses DBP formation in water sources from a wide variety of geographic locations, and develops analytical techniques for identifying currently unknown DBPs. Research partner: USEPA.
