Research Impact

Compares intestinal disease rates in people exposed to tap water, bottled tap water, purified tap water, and continuous flow tap water to examine whether there is a relationship between drinking water and enteric disease. Also attempts to determine the relative contribution of treatment and distribution systems to disease levels (if any). Research partners: USEPA, Quebec Ministry of Environment, Compagnie Générale des Eaux, Health Canada, and NWRI. Published in 2000.
