Research Impact
Evaluates existing water utility self-assessment and self-improvement tools. Identifies opportunities to enhance these tools based on current standards of practice, to improve utility awareness of and access to such tools, and to overcome barriers to utility participation in self-assessment and self-improvement activities. Upgrades selected tools to make them more effective, more accessible and/or more affordable for water utilities. Research partner: AWWA. Completed in 2006. The Foundation forwarded completed documents to the AWWA QualServe program.
