Development of Exposure Assessment Methods for THM and HAA in Water Distribution Systems

Abstract

Develops predictive tools for exposure assessment to trihalomethanes (THMs) and haloacetic acids (HAAs) for linkage to reproductive and cancer epidemiological studies. Uses representative groups of waters spanning a typical range of natural organic matter and bromide. Research partner: M/DBP Council. Published in 2001.
