Abstract

Studies the corrosion of lead-containing materials, focusing on the effects of NOM and corrosion mitigation treatment. Includes data on the rate of electrochemical corrosion, the rate of lead leaching, and lead speciation. Also describes the morphology of the corroding surfaces and of released colloidal particles. Reports on the effects of treatment processes using laboratory protocols and exposure of materials in the field. Published in 1999.
