Abstract

Develops and documents a formal methodology for the preparation of the business case, including return on investment, for use of geographic information technology (GIT) within water, wastewater, and (possibly) gas and electric utilities. Includes a literature search, case studies, and the development of a benefit analysis workbook to assist other utilities in building their business case for GIT. Includes a CD-ROM.
