Research Impact
In the face of increasing uncertainties due to climate change and socioeconomic shifts, traditional, deterministic water supply planning may fall short of fostering the resilience needed to respond to these changing conditions. This guidance is intended to provide practical strategies for utilities as they navigate water supply planning and infrastructure development amid unprecedented levels of uncertainty and change. The team for this project includes participation from eight diverse water utilities located in the United States, Canada, and New Zealand. Published in 2026.
