Update of the Advanced On-Site Wastewater Treatment and Management Market Study

This series of reports is an update to Advanced On-Site Wastewater Treatment and Management Market Study (2000). The reports provide updated information on the status of regulations, management, technology, funding, training, and research and demonstration projects for all 50 states. It includes a literature review with updated reports for each state and a summary of the state reports. A white paper updates findings of the earlier study and incorporates insights from a series of workshops by the National Decentralized Water Resources Capacity Development Project (NDWRCDP) and the Coalition for Alternative Wastewater Treatment (CAWT) from 2000-2009. Lastly, a series of case studies highlight innovative ways to advance the decentralized wastewater treatment approach. Four online PDFs. (2010).
