Project 4234: Selecting Techniques for the Rehabilitation of Small Diameter Cast Iron PipesThe initial phase of this research for project 4234 involved a comprehensive literature review that covered previous Foundation studies, economic analyses and other existing research. This review is structured in the following way:
- Chapter 2 provides a conceptual background to asset management
- Chapter 3 provides a detailed review of CI as a pipeline material
- Chapter 4 considers the approaches to rehabilitation that can be applied to CI pipe
- Chapter 5 provides a review of decision support tools presented in the literature
- Chapter 6 provides an outline of the tool to be developed in the remainder of the research
