Research Impact

The objective of this project was to conduct a literature review and workshop on the science of forested watershed protection. The project assessed the state of the science regarding forest management impacts on drinking water utility costs and integrating land use decisions with water management and planning. The final deliverable is a slide document, which includes a discussion of research needs and strategies to overcome barriers and accelerate watershed protection by solidifying the foundation for confident partnerships and investments by utilities and forest managers. Research partner: U.S. Endowment for Forestry. Published in 2015.
