Abstract
This project focused on bacterial pathogens that can persist, and potentially grow, in aquatic biofilms. The research described how bacterial pathogens form biofilms and interact with pre-existing environmental biofilms, and ultimately, how processes contribute to the persistence and dissemination of pathogens.
