          Abstract
Describes reservoir management techniques for maintaining or improving the quality of water supply resources, especially those techniques shown to be successful in field-scale applications. Quantifies each technique's degree of success with respect to raw water levels of THM precursors, iron, manganese, dissolved gases, algae, and general organic matter. Also evaluates techniques with respect to cost-benefit ratios, and documents successful applications. Published in 1989.
