Each year, your support empowers The Water Research Foundation (WRF) to deliver practical, timely, and actionable water research that strengthens the water sector and the communities you serve. As we look back on this year’s results, we’re immensely grateful and proud to share the impact we’ve created together in 2025. 

Because of your partnership and support, WRF: 

• Funded 46 new research projects totaling $8M, targeting the most pressing challenges facing our subscribers and the broader water sector. This is over and above the nearly $87M of water research under contract in cash and cost-share supporting more than 230 active research projects!
• Published 35 final reports, with a research investment of $11.3 million, and shared 81 project updates to keep you connected with our latest research progress.
• Hosted 17 webcasts and delivered many more workshops and event presentations to our subscribers, across the water sector, and beyond.
• Launched our powerful new website Portal, making it easier than ever to access research, engage with projects, and get even more involved in our research.
