Abstract

This project identified, compiled, and described leading practices for lake and reservoir oxygenation/circulation techniques; the use of rapid, or near real-time, sensors and traditional water quality monitoring tools; and the range of water quality models that are being used to guide operational decisions. Three state of the industry reports were published: Water Quality Modeling to Aid Water Supply Reservoir Management (4222a) (published in 2013), Rapid Water Quality Monitoring to Aid Water Supply Reservoir Management (4222b) (published in 2014), Oxygenation and Circulation to Aid Water Supply Reservoir Management (4222c) (published in 2015). Research partner: UKWIR.
