Abstract

Identifies, using a case study approach, how utilities can address the combined impacts of multiple rule requirements through water resource management. Emphasizes the trade-offs that are sometimes necessary to comply with seemingly conflicting requirements (e.g., balancing disinfection targets and disinfection by-product minimization). Research partners: USEPA and ACWA. Published in 2002. (Still available to Foundation subscribers as Order 90905.)
