Abstract

The overarching objective of this project is to bridge high-priority knowledge gaps in applying microbial ecology to the practice of denitrification processes. This research serves as a pilot for future meta-omics studies on full-scale wastewater processes and addresses some long-standing and high-priority questions associated with wastewater denitrification. The study offers strategies to resolve current operational issues relating to denitrification, to ultimately result in more stable denitrification performance. Published by WRF. 74 pages. Online PDF.
