Explores the potential of integrating several innovative biological and filtration processes for advanced treatment of surface water. Targets processes such as microfiltration/nanofiltration, slow sand/catalytic conditioner/nanofiltration, and rapid sand filtration operated in a biological mode followed by membrane filtration.
