Abstract

This project developed predictive tools or methods for taste-and-odor (T&O) events in lake, reservoir, and river sources. The research team reviewed and adapted existing, successful water quality tests, sensory methods, and remote sensing technologies used in water supply and other industries for the prediction of T&O events. The project also reports on a survey of existing successful customer communication strategies to proactively communicate T&O events to the public. Appendices A-G are posted below under Project Papers. Published in 2006.
