Coarse-Grained Vadose Zone Impacts on Mountain Basin Groundwater Recharge

Abstract

Evaluates the mechanisms that control the recharge water quality for urban storm water channeled through Class V injection wells for disposal. Also determines the specific geochemical processes responsible for contaminant attenuation in coarse-grained vadose zones, and develops storm water management approaches reflecting the results.
