Hospital Wastewater Practices and Compounds of Emerging Concern in Water

Abstract

This project aimed to provide a holistic view to water utility and healthcare facility practitioners on management of compounds of emerging concern (CECs) in hospital wastewater. Emphasis was placed on identifying information gaps for future research on CEC management at these facilities, with the ultimate goal of establishing practices to improve the protection of both human health and ecosystems. Published in 2020.
