Abstract
Capital project funding is a significant issue facing North American water utilities due to limited utility budgets and customer affordability concerns. This project built a body of knowledge on the applicability and potential of new and emerging capital financing alternatives that may be suitable to water utilities in North America, and focuses on exploring novel and creative approaches to capital financing.
In addition to the final report, the project produced the "New and Emerging Financing Decision Support Tool," posted below under Web Tools. The project also produced 10 case studies, which are compiled into one document, posted below under Case Studies.
