The 25th International Ozone Association (IOA) World Congress, held August 30 – September 2, featured presenters from 13 countries discussing how ozone can be used to mitigate global challenges related to climate change (e.g., harmful algal blooms), water supply resilience (e.g., water reuse, disinfection, compounds of emerging concern), and SARS-CoV-2 inactivation.

WRF has published extensive research on ozone disinfection for advanced water treatment. Technical sessions at the IOA World Congress showcased representatives from WRF subscribing organizations, including Southern Nevada Water Authority, HRSD (Hampton Roads Sanitation District), Water One, Peterborough Utilities Commission, Black & Veatch, CDM Smith, Arcadis, and Brown and Caldwell.
