Practical Framework for Water Infrastructure Resilience Webcast

Webcast
Description

Secure and resilient drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure is critical for public health and national security. However, the best path to ensuring the security and resilience of this infrastructure is the subject of debate. There are numerous national and international guidance documents, standards, frameworks, and tools available to water utilities covering various aspects of risk and resilience planning and emergency preparedness. Selecting the most relevant documents, standards, frameworks, and tools can be a daunting task.

This webcast presented the findings of Practical Framework for Water Infrastructure Resilience (5014). The project team developed a Resilience Practical Framework (RPF), which allows utilities to self-assess the maturity of their resilience position, identify resilience gaps, find strategies to close those gaps, and guidance on where to get further information to make required changes.
