Research Impact
Investigates the feasibility of combining ultraviolet radiation and chlorination to achieve disinfection with minimal THM production, based on a laboratory and pilot comparison of the UV - chlorination process with conventional chlorination. Results indicate that this combined process does not significantly reduce THM production. Ended in 1990. (Out of print)
