This work will contribute to the HYPOWERS project as follows:
- Engineering TEAs/LCAs for treatment of all liquid effluents
- Research options for hydrothermal liquefaction effluent water treatment, nutrient (nitrogen and phosphorus) recovery and reuse, precipitation of metals, disposition of sulfur and effect of treated and untreated effluent recycle on biological waste treatment processes.
- Prepare techno-economic and life cycle assessment for these processes.
