Title:Webcast: Biofiltration Knowledge Base
This Webcast introduced the Biofiltration Knowledge Base for Water Research Foundation Project 4459, "Development of a Biofiltration Knowledge Base". The knowledge base is intended to capture the experiences and best management practices from North American water utilities currently in the process of implementing or operating high rate aerobic biofilters. Currently, the knowledge base contains information from 26 full-scale facilities broken into four phases of implementation ― planning, evaluation, design, and operation. This Webcast will summarize these case studies and provide guidance for accessing, using, and contributingto the web-based knowledge base. The Knowledge Base is now available to use and the final report for this project will be available in early 2015.
