8/2/2011	E. coli Case Study Poster: First Place at ACE 2011	This research poster from project #4238 received first place in the Water Quality and Technology Division at the 2011 AWWA Annual Conference & Exposition. The poster (Evaluation of Alternative Real-Time PCR Assays for the Detection of E. coli in Drinking Water) reports the results of specificity and sensitivity testing for alternative E. coli qPCR assay.
6/30/2011	ACE 2011 Subscriber Breakfast Presentation: Forecasting the Future for Utilities	How will you prepare your utility for the future? What will the next 10–20 years have in store for water utilities? At the 2011 Foundation Subscriber Breakfast in Washington D.C., Julia Hunt, Director of Water Utilities for the City of Arlington, Texas, presented trends, impacts, and strategies that have been identified through Foundation Project 4232: “Forecasting the Future: Progress, Change and Predictions for the Water Sector.”
6/12/2008	2008 Posters from project 3134, "Contaminant Candidate List Viruses: Evaluation of Disinfection Efficacy"	The research team for Foundation project 3134, "Contaminant Candidate List Viruses: Evaluation of Disinfection Efficacy," present updated results from their on-going work on disinfection of Candidate Contaminant List (CCL) viruses using chlorine and chloramine. These posters represent their latest work with disinfection studies using various treated source waters. This work was presented at the 2008 American Society for Microbiology (ASM) general meeting in Boston.

This poster was presented to the Illinois section of AWWA in Springfield, IL., March 12, 2008.
1/19/2008	Water Utilities and Climate Change Research - Farmcast Radio Interview with Foundation Project Manager, Susan Turnquist	Farmcast Radio produces an hour-long show each Saturday for the Grand Junction area, and on Jan. 19 focused on the Colorado Water Congress (CWC) which is holding it’s 50th annual conference on January 23-25. Foundation project manager Susan Turnquist was one of two speakers who gave an interview on the topic of her planned presentation to the CWC, “Overview of Water Utilities and Climate Change Research.” The interview is about 10 minutes long (3mb) and covers responses to both general and Colorado-specific questions.
